Top 7 Positions in IT Area

If your ship doesn’t come in, swim out to meet it!

Jonathan Winters

Everyone should understand how hierarchy in any IT company works. A person should move gradually up the ladder from staff to CEO

A lot of people think that leadership is boring and not interesting. But this is a huge mistake. Being a head requires intelligence and effort as well as more responsibilities.

There are jobs and positions. And they are not the same. A “job” is about some specific skills and knowledge while a “position” is mostly about your management skills. So we can have a look at the IT area from the hierarchal point of view. We will find out which position to strive for and what responsibility to take.

These are the basic positions: a worker (staff, employees), a manager, an executive, a business owner (investor). Getting back to IT we have the following options:

IT consultancy: we begin as an intern consultant and move up to IT consultancy manager – in this position, your job is to evaluate the systems and do the research that no one else entirely understands. (medium salary $USD)

Salary: $78,284

Cloud computing: we begin as workers and move up to Cloud architect – you’ve heard of cloud computing of course. Although that storage space can’t be touched literally, it still needs to be organized and given an architecture.

Salary: $128,418

Computer forensic investigator: we begin as workers and move up to Computer forensic investigator – search for, identify and evaluate information from computer systems, often for trial evidence.

Salary: $62,753

Health information technology: we begin as workers and move up to Health IT specialist – mix computer knowledge with record-keeping skills.

Salary: $63,932

Mobile app development: we begin as workers and move up to Mobile application developer – using basic coding languages, developers will create programs for future iOS and Android devices.

Salary: $73,257

Web developing: we begin as workers and move up tp Web design project manager -web developer – they create web pages, web applications and web content, but their skill set requires them to have excellent understanding of what makes a good operating system, what the average surfer finds visually stimulating and how to optimize sites for mobile tech, among numerous other skills. They also need proficiency in Web languages, like HTML and Javascript.

Salary: $59,343

Data Modeler: we begin as workers and move up to Data Modeler – create data designs and define relationships between data fields, according to TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System).

Salary: $80,967

So I hope after reading this post you know more not only about hierarchy in just a company, but IT management hierarchy as well. And it shows what jobs you can do in the IT area.

Zooming on my iOS

I needed a mike to record myself at a superb quality of sound. Due to the fact that I am an active person I decided to look for a mike to plug directly into my iPhone. During my search I found out about one of the best microphones in the world for my devices. This is a “Zoom iQ6 Professional Stereo Microphone for iOS”.

During my search I found out about one of the best microphones in the world for my devices. This is a “Zoom iQ6 Professional Stereo Microphone for iOS”.

I can turn my iOS device into a field recorder by plugging in a Zoom iQ6 — a stereo X/Y microphone with a Lightning connector small enough to slip into my pocket. It comes with an extended Lightning connector and removable spacer that allows it to be used with most iPhone, iPad, and iPod cases.  With the help of it I have an opportunity to capture the sound of concerts, interviews, meetings, lectures, and nature with precision and full fidelity, then share my creations with the rest of the world.

Furthermore, the compact and lightweight iQ6 allows me to create high-quality recordings wherever I am. Whether it’s a podcast on the fly, a concert, or a sound effect I want to incorporate into my next video, I can count on my iQ6 to capture the moment

I can even change the mic angle from 90 degrees for a tightly focused image to 120 degrees for immersive wide-angle stereo.

The iQ6’s dedicated headphone jack — which doubles as a line output — enables direct monitoring during both recording and playback.

So, I am very happy that I have maid a right choice in picking up microphones for my hobbies and my learning. If you are in search like I was, choose Zoom iQ6 Professional Stereo Microphone for iOS”. It is worth it.

French Riviera Christmas

I like Christmas, because you can have a good time with right people and you don’t have to worry about your work or studies. Some people choose to visit a new country every year. So I will tell you about my choice.

My family and I went to the French Riviera this Christmas. This is one of the best places to go if you like warm weather and palms but at the same time you don’t want to forget about winter and Christmas. There is a lot to see there and you have a wide range of places to go to. Just imagine: every place, every street, every cafe has New Year decorations so it feels like you are in a fairy tale of your dreams.

My family and I have visited some new cities in the Riviera: Saint-Raphael, Mandelieu, Theoule-sur-Mer, Sanremo.

But my favourite way to spend a day should be like this:

☀In the morning I go to Starbucks to get my favourite frappuccino and then go to the beach. I like watching the waves  sitting on the Promenade des Anglais. It helps me to think about my plans and my future.

🛍In the afternoon it is great to meet a friend near the Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes and go shopping to  boutiques on the Croisette or you can go to the Marché de Noël.

🍹The evening is a time when you can enjoy your holiday tasty food relaxing in my favourite Movida Lounge. The French Riviera offers you a great opportunity to find what you want, because there are no problems to pick up a cozy place to eat. You can enjoy French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese cuisine etc. I prefer Caffé Roma

🌃In the night it is up to you where to go. You can go to High Club and party there or you can go home to take a very long nap. I prefer parties on holidays.

I hope now you see why I am so enthusiastic about coming to the French Riviera every Christmas…

NOTES:

Frappuccino is a trademarked brand of the Starbucks Corporation for a line of iced, blended coffee drinks.

Marché de Noël (“Christmas market”) is an outdoor market associated with the celebration of Christmas and which is traditionally held during Advent.

The Promenade des Anglais is an avenue along the seaside in the Baie des Anges, in Nice.

Movida Lounge is a bar-lounge at the seaside in Nice.

Caffé Roma is in the heart of the city, opposite the Palais des Festivals, it has been a Cannes institution for 25 years.

Gaming Our Lives

As you know gaming makes life of a lot of people happier nowadays. But I should point out pros and cons of gaming.

You might consider gaming as a type of entertainment. Lots of people spend their free time driving, flying, killing, creating and what not escaping the reality. Games can be educational, funny, they can teach skills such as strategic thinking, interpretative analysis and problem solving.

However, gaming can be very addictive and make children become accustomed to violence. Furthermore, as you can see around you video games have negative effects on children and distract them from school homework and doing sports.

To sum up, it is up to you to decide whether you play video games or not, if you want to use gaming as a kind of entertainment or to avoid danger of it. Choose what you love, as to me I devote my free time to education, sport, family and friends.

My Experience with Computers

First I met a computer at the age of seven. It was a laptop running Windows XP. I knew nothing about these magical IT devices and about the Internet at all!

My first computer game was a language learning multimedia one. As far as  remember it was EuroTalk 15 languages. I used it to expand my English vocabulary.

It’s been a long time since my first cyber experience.  Now I am a happy owner of an Apple iMac and still learning everything about computers & coding with the best teacher in the world.

In the future I want to work in this area and take part in creating the wonderful digital age!

Turkish Tapestry of My Emotions

It is my last day on a balcony in Turkey. I am sitting and watching a sunset. And I am asking myself: “What interesting  happened this week?” Oh… so much!! The reality was much more beautiful than my previous expectations.

I spent a lot of time on the beach. The sea was splendid and calm, so you could enjoy your drinks, sunbathe and spend as much time as you want in the water.

I found friends so I could enjoy their company eating ice-cream and having fun in the pool. Also our evening ritual was going to the club at night. Every night was interesting and joyfulness. We were dancing till 2 a.m., then we went to the night bar to drink or to eat. At dawn we went to the pool, but we didn’t swim. We were just sitting on sun loungers, watching the shady palms around and speaking about future and dreams.

I love this travel with all my heart!! So many emotions, so much sunshine, so much new memories. I wish every my summer was like this. Enjoy your life!

Subjects of My Life

Universal of Mine

I am just sitting at the table right now, drinking my coffee and thinking about courses that I should choose when I go to the university.

In my list there should be Data Design,  Management of Creative Projects and Prototyping Interactive Technologies.

But I don’t want to be a narrow specialist, so I would choose one or two more minor subjects apart of my major. Multimedia is everywhere now. So you must be at home with art & design.

That’s why I feel like taking up some courses related to these areas. I want to learn lots of stuff to be good at my job and obtain specific skills. For example “Communication and graphic design” and “Journalism, PR, media and publishing”.

I hope my schedule will allow me to start practise on my own, maybe it’s gonna be a kind of freelance. It will help me realise.
